LCS

In recent days I have come across Louisville's best cartoon/comic artists. I really want to focus on one special person from the group Louisville cartoonist society Ted Nathanson. All of his works is artistic not just your typical cartoony look. His composition and overall style resembles some of the great pop artists of our time. Ted's passion and brilliants with art is kind of second to none. Ted teaches and makes art these days. Visit his website and check out what I am talking about. Link is on the left side of the blog.

Ted and his buddy Phil Back created a great group called the LCS with a purpose of showing and helping local artists, and it Continues to grow with extremely great artists like Steve Bowman and Kevlen Goodner. along along the lines of art this medium we call comics needs great writings from the likes of Tony Sullivan and Bruce Thomas. This group has dozens of members that come from many different backgrounds and careers. It is all about encouraging and helping one another to achieve ones dream of creating comics that they love and enjoy to read and see in print. Give it a shot come out to Zanzabar in Louisville Wednesday nights at 8pm to see and drink and speak to enchanting artists like you.
